I have to many colleges including The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society, shikshayantan college and agrasain college and Thk jain also but the main thing was i wanted to take addmission in a government college with cheaper fees structure and jaipuria has less fees than other's.
If you're a commerce student you have to take B.com ( bachelor of commerce in accounting and finance) course. You'll be introduced to many new subjects that you haven't learnt aur had been teached in 11th or 12th. Not a tough course but yaa it is for some reason. There are tutorial exams before the final exams of 25 marks each and the college does reduce marks if you have written clearly or not. The saddest part. This happened with me too though I have been written everything in the paper still got supply and also there is no option of recheck in college papers
Tata company always gives internship in the college and they offer many additional courses with extra course fees to the students and not everyone get selected in the company but they provide this to everyone out there.
The yearly course fees in RS 3600 and you can apply for the Swami Vivekanand scholarship and Kanyashree scheme as well you can get around 12000 yearly in swami vivekananda scheme and 25000 in Kanyashree scheme.
There are social media account of college to be indulge with. And they only give fresher party no event had been organised till now. College Library only have old books no new books you'll find there so better go for pdfs rather than wasting time
The exams are really tough and the college follows Calcutta University syllabus so its more tough. One thing i must say don't go for good marks if you're taking admission in any of the college under Calcutta University just focus on passing marks that will be enough otherwise the there is chances of getting supply. The office staff of the college are very rude they don't even listen anything and rude to talk about. There is a lift for students toh go in upper floors but you have to use stairs to come down that I don't like.
The curriculum is very realistic and necessary for every person in this world, irrespective of what they are studying. This course teaches so much about finances, business and commerce as a whole. I would suggest this course to all.
It depends upon the courses you have chosen and the duration of course generally we assume that the courses consists of 3 year and the companies came during the last year of your course and done interview.
B.Com is a very industry-ready course and very relevant in today's time and work. The real-world application is taught well here and students get some insights about the practical usage of the course. Teachers may use some friendly behavior and some fun examples for the weak students to get involved and interested in the class.
Mostly from 2nd year students start receiving the internships however depends on department to department. Mostly students receive their placements from 3rd year. Few reputed recruiters such as Intel, TCS, Virtusa, Valve Momentum, Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, etc. The institute offers 270+ recruiters with 97% placement rate. The average package offered is 6.50 LPA whereas the highest is 51 LPA.
I did not want to take science and I did not want to be called an arts student, so I took commerce. When I started, I myself did not know why I should have taken this subject, but I gradually learnt it. I started to understand it and whether I like the accounts or not, I have to read it Now the cost has come in the place of final account, now there will be more problem
The course i choose is definitely not an easy course but the teacher make it easy for all for us.In starting they provide us many classes but with the passing of time they provide us very less classes.
The classrooms need to be improved the quality of books should be improved as the teachers teach us from their old books which makes it difficult for us to understand from which portion of the syllabus they are teaching
The course I've opted for mainly deals with accounts and commerce but this college gave me the opportunity to explore much more . This course becomes much more interesting with the addition of such value added subjects certain internal exams which includes presentations, mock interviews etc.
After 2nd year students are eligible for campus placements. They have to choose the companies and provide their CVs to the placement cell of the college which then forwards it to the companies. Deloitte, pkmy, godrej are some of the top companies that took students for their company roles. Highest package was 23 lakhs and average was around 4.5 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placed were 70. I plan to get a master's degree after completing my graduation.
