- Atmosphere is good. if somebody really wants to study then the college provides enough classes and guidance.
- seniors are also good and helpful in the college.
- there are so many societies where we can participate and explore.
Dislikes
- There is a lot of pressure of attendance.
- Students dislike frequent examinations .
- there is no other dislikings which i can mention.
Remarks :
this is a very prestegious college i have known from my chidhood so i took admission here inspite the fees is a little high for my family. And also This is one of the best college for statistics Honors in KOlkata and also all over India.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is very prestigeous and one of the best college for statistics honours in Kolkata. so that i took admission here. i think it was s very good decision. i have already mentioned the frequency and about exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for statistics department is around 65-70 thousands pr year. the college itself does not arrange for any scholarshio but if one is eligible for any then the college takes the responsibility. there are also reservation for caste and specially abled student.
Campus Life :
there is an annoual festival for each of the departments. and also many more festivals all over the year. i would like to mention XAVOTSAV. this is held every year. last year SHILPA RAO was there in XAVOTSAV.
Faculty :
The faculty student ratio in the college is quite good . there are enough professors in the college. they guide in properly not only in academics but also in all other problems. I like SC maam. professor of ststistics. she is really a good teacher. there are 2 main exams for a semester but also continuous internal assesment and many practical exams are held.

Placement Experience :
From sixth semester students become eligible for campus placements. Around 10 companies visited and around 5 offers. In BCA 15 percentage student got placement but on other bachelor degree the no of placememt is less. My plans after geeting the degree is to crack gate exam.

Our college every year throws a freshers party to welcome all the new students . Its a environment of joy and cheerfull. The college union invited famous singers and musicians every year to perform in this ospicios program . Teaching methods are good but i suggest of putting smart screens in every classes beacuse the students sitting in back benches cannot really see the board. Every year there is one semester exam held in our college and the fees of every exam is almost 1k . The difficulty increases every year.
