- Campus life :- we have numerous of fests all round the year
- Lush green campus:- we have a campus of 650 acres with a lake within
- Supportive seniors:- the seniors helps us in academic as well as day to day basis
Dislikes
- Teaching methods can be better. The faculties are old school
- Almost no placement for Architecture. Could have invited a few firms
- Old infrastructure of hostels and department
Remarks :
Firstly we have to pass jee paper 2 and then after sitting in jossa or csab we get a seat in manit . Jee takes place twice a year in January and April. Yes we can avail reservation benefits for tution fee in college for securing seat in jossa or csab but hostel and mess fee needs to be paid by everyone despite of reservation
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have always been fascinated to buildings and site construction works . The college provides us numerous of case studies and site visits during our studio hours . The curriculum is fun and interactive for students.we have mini test .mids and final examination at end of sem which are easy to pass if we focus during the lectures
Internships Opportunities :
The teachers help us to find internships with well deserved stipend.you can apply for internship from the very 1st semester depending on your skills . Recently i worked in an architecture firm for 2 months during my semester break
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible to sit for placement in their final year . Last year in architecture 11 offers were finalized.the highest package was 11 lakh per annum while average was 7 lakh per annum. You can also apply for masters which most of the students do
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Currently i am paying 36000 as my yearly tution fee .the fee depends on your family income .for less than 1 lakh tution fee is zero .and for sc st also tution fee is zero we can apply for a numerous scholarships which can help in financial aid
Campus Life :
We have fests mostly around the year but 4 being the major fests maffic techno search e-sumit and tooryanad We have a huge library with books of all the disciplines and few other books too . A digital library where you can sit and work with group We have the largest sports complex in all the nits
Hostel Facilities :
We are given a bed table chair nd lan port and a attached almirah in the hostel room The mess quality is just ok providing variety of dishes There are common washrooms for a block with gyser nd cold water facility
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is 2:50. It is quite appropriate as we usually have studios. YoU can get their information on manit website too . They are well qualified , phds and masters holder. We have one to one interaction with the teachers and they positively help us in academia
