I had a keen interest in Mathematics thats why I chose this branch. Also Data Science is the fastest growing tech vertical in the country so I see a great Opportunities ahead. Each sem is of arround 3 to 4 months and exams occur in monthly intervals.
Placement of NIT bhopal are pretty well, this years avg package was around 11LPA although recession is going on right now, so the placement percentage is dropped but I would it's still better than most of the private colleges and other nits too.

Their are many societies and clubs inside college, every freshers should join 1 or 2 clubs according to their interests. These clubs start recruiting after 1 semester. For sports their is a well maintained sports complex inside campus and opportunities like inter nit also come time to time.
Student to faculty ratio is 1:30 in MDS branch specifically for other branches it might vary. There are three exams in every semester Mini test, mid term exams, and end term exams. Usually everyone gets passed in all the exams.
