- Tula's Institute dehradun is ranked 130th by india today in 2023 under private colleges. All programmes are accredited with NAAC and Btech CSE is accredited by NBA which increases the reputation of college among others colleges in dehradun
- It has a very beautiful lush green campus you can roam everywhere gardens are so beautiful and it's situated in dehradun so ofcourse a plus point for this college
- You can join clubs of your interest like dancing,singing, instrument playing,etc. you can play football, cricket basketball, badminton. it has a seperate playing area for particular sport
Dislikes
- campus size is not so big, it's only 22+ acres so you have limitations
- college situated in outskirts of dehradun you have to travel around 14-16 km if you want to go main city
- if you live in hostel you can't go outside everyday. you can go outside on Monday, Wednesday and Friday otherwise you have to take permission from warden
Remarks :
Eligibility of this course is you have to score 70%in pcm to get addmission in cse branch. you can fill application form from visiting college website, they will call you for further process, application form is free untill now, you can apply from may to august for addmission. exams frequently happens you have to study hard to cope up with syllabus otherwise you can't score a descent. addmission process is pretty much simple you have to fill form from the college website and they will call you for you details and your application will be submitted
Course Curriculum Overview :
i choose this course because i want to be a successful software engineer, want to contribute in development of future technologies. college has variety of labs you can gain practical knowledge there, like there is a 3d printing lab, computer lab with high specification of cpu, placement drive occurs time to time you can participate in that.In a semester, 3 exams occurs first two is sessionals and last one is end sem. sessional are easy but you have to study hard to score in end sem exams
Internships Opportunities :
many service bases companies which do bulk hiring such as accentuate, wipro,tcs etc but they will give offer letter when selected. the joining letter is rare as they make you wait and recruit only when they need. many other product based companies are offering internship before a direct job with a stipend of nearly ?15,000-?20,000
Placement Experience :
after 5th to 6th semester students became eligible for campus placement. many companies visit the college like Calvin Klein, daffodils, boon, capitalvia, yhills, byjus, jio,etc. in 2024 12lpa was highest package offered by company boon. average package was 4.5 to 5lpa, more than 90% students get placed in companies, i want to pursue higher post graduate after completion of my course
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm paying ?136100 per year hostel fees is ?95000 per year you can choose your hostel room fees will vary from ?95000 -?126000 depending on what facilities you want in your room. college provide no reservations, you can take direct addmission. fees is fixed utill your course completed. you can opt for DRCC if you're from bihar.
Campus Life :
Two fest held in college first is Sanskriti which is annual fest and second one is utkrist which is technical fest. sanskriti held in last week of april and utkrist held in first week of November. you can participate in large numbers of activities such as model making, hackathon, robots wars etc in technical fest i.e utkrist and dancing,singing, ramp walk, nataks in the annual fest which is sanskriti, big celebrities come in annual fest in 2024, singers like salim sulaiman showed up. In classroom facilities like projectors, LED screens are provided for teaching which helps students for better understanding. you can access a various amount of books and journals from the library, you can get unlimited WiFi across the campus as well as in library, there are two library in the college both are so elegant. you can join social groups like footloose, munchan, etc according to your taste, these clubs will help you to boost your talent and will give opportunities to perform on big stage.
Faculty :
college has a very large number of faculties, they are so supportive and will help you with every stage of your course. most of faculties are phd holders so you can trust them. if i need help for my studies i can call faculty, if they are free they will tell you to approach them.

Maintain a good profile over LinkedIn and other professional networks (including naukri, freshersworld etc) 2. Create a good CV and send it to your friends and family and ask for reference. 3. Try to connect to seniors for referrals 4. Keep yourself updated with latest knowledge in your domain because whenever you would get a call for interview there would not be enough time to prepare. 5. If nothing works then stop looking for job and start looking for interns, there are thousands of startups in our country who always need good manpower to function but are short of money. If you could work with them then you will have work experience and good networks as well that could help you get a better job. 6. Shift to Pune, New Delhi or Bangalore for more opportunities

Placement Experience :
The students get eligible in 4 th year for sitting for the placement as in any other college. There are different companies that come in college like TCS,Infosys etc and many other companies, that make good offers for some students. The highest package that a student has got is of 36 lakh and the average package of college is of 4-5 lakh. The percentage of students getting placements are 20-25 %. My plans are to get into the it field and grow myself by working in different areas after getting the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum and teaching method should be revised as they are very old and sometimes not even match the basic industrial requirement. More industrial oriented subject should be introduced in the curriculum and labs should get more weightage.
