I got 80 percentage and so I was admitted to the college directly without any exams . After getting admitted we took admission forms which was around 200 .talking about exams it's not that hard even our internal exams are examined on the basis of assignments and small tests and it's likely an efficient way to improve one's ability without any hindrances
Though my course is a bit hard and confusing it's still one of the most efficient courses which proves many students with different opportunities and experience which is of great importance.It delves into the realms of learning from low to high and upward to downward
The fees are paid in terms of two instalments i.e. First instalment and second instalment which is covered within 6 months but the first instalment is a bit higher because it includes admission fees and so on .Scholarships are applied on the basis of grades obtained by a particular student in his or her previous academic year . The scholarship portal includes levels such as state , central , merit and so on and as a result students get their scholarships on the basis of which level they apply for based on their grades .Recently I applied for merit as I got 80 percent in my HSSLC examination which the total amount of my income was approximately 14000.
The college itself provides different co-curriculur activities including sport sessions which is held for 4-5 days in a year and also provides different activities such as freshers day cultural day children's day teachers day and so on
Our faculties and Hods are filled with different qualities and abilities but the most important thing is that they have morals and ethical values which is of the greatest importance . They provide many facilities including activities which can enhance ones ability to learn more and more they also provide us with proper learning technique which ultimately helps us understand
I chose English department because I'm interested in it and I've heard there are many popular writers in Kohima College so I decided to opt for English honours, the lecturers are so good, but one thing I dislike is the class timing, it's on 8:00 am, it's too early especially for people attending from far places, so I just wished the timing could've been scheduled better.
The placement is provided to hardworking students who are willing to give thier best in thier work. Our university have placement cell where the internship and jobs opportunities are provided collaborating with various companies.
The education field is improving somehow in india but it still have a long way to go. The curriculums should be relaxed in the fyugp 4 years course plan. And make it more cost efficient because a lit of tribal people comE from different districts all over nagaland . improvements should focus on enhancing clarity regarding credit transferability between institutions, establishing robust mechanisms for student counseling and guidance, and ensuring adequate infrastructure and faculty resources to support the expanded program. Additionally, the plan must clearly outline exit and entry points for students, allowing for flexible degree pathways. A comprehensive evaluation system to assess the program's effectiveness is also crucial. refining curriculum alignment with industry needs, ensuring adequate faculty training and development, establishing robust student support systems, optimizing resource allocation for infrastructure and technology, and implementing effective evaluation and fee etc
The course helps me to analyse political parties and pressure groups, judge the quality of governance and administration and understand the decision making process of India . To improve the teaching learning method I would like all the teachers to make use of advanced technology to teach lessons in the class, because only some uses it. This will enchance the teaching learning process And overall learning of the students
