Likes
- The hostel is super luxurious and clean . We have a super clean bathroom.
- We have a balcony to their room so that they could enjoy the view and breeze
- Have vending machine inside the hostel which would refilled everyday
- The classroom is fully AC. And we have a restaurant, canteen, and snacks bar along with a juice bar across the campus
- They have a supermarket for our every needs and the hostel is equipped with lift
Dislikes
- The warden is not so friendly and laundry is not punctual
- The house keeping services are not regular
- Not much of campus life and network issue
Remarks :
The addmission is mainly through SRMJEE which could be accessed from SRMIST.edu.in , most of the other states students are joining via SRMJEE . Direct admission is also possible. Certificate verification is done on the inauguration day.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is moderately hard but could be understood easily and the teachers are available for clarification of doubts. There are both practical and theory sessions and exams for computer related subjects
Internships Opportunities :
The internship offered by the college is of large genre. The college gives extra course credits for students who complete nptel and AICTE. The college also have collaboration with Matlab and futureskills prime to develop the students skilla
Placement Experience :
Since the college only had 100 students from its first batch only a few got campus placements.The college provides students who hadn't got campus placement internships which could help them secure a job and for the final years only two months of classes would be there after that SRM is providing them internships to improve their skills and get high paying jobs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees may vary from year of joining as the college is currently developing and scholarship provide on the basis of special entrance exam SRMJEE and by 12th marks.The Gpa acquired on even semesters can also be used as a scholarship criteria
Campus Life :
Yearly a sports meet would be conducted. Inter school championship is also conducted. Freshers day and other cultural festivals are celebrated by the student council without taking money from the students. Club conduct their activities every month and would give certificates for the participants
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is a clean spacious room with either 3 or 6 sharing rooms with the choice of AC and Non AC. A bathroom is also provided in all the rooms. The rooms have 3 cupboards and 3 drawers along with 3 pull back drawers and a mini table near the bed and a shoe rack. The hostel room have a balcony which is having a light to sit at. 3 fans and 3 tubelights are also fitted in the rooms. Bathrooms have geyser along with exhaust fan
Faculty :
We do have a library upto 7pm. The student staff ratio is 6:1. The time to clarify dbt depends on each faculty. Each of the faculty has a doctorate in their subjects so it would help us a lot with years of experience

In the report of computer science I have a syllabus like PHP data structure and algorithm python c++ etc and I and I like to study with understand the concept of the lesson and syllabus and the teachers also outside with examples and the way of teaching is so good for students understand and the under the timing of exam is ok .

Placement Experience :
They create placements for after finishing course duration to the students who get good percentage in semester. And they create placements to good companies for the students the salary details about the performance of students

Amrita, A nightmare

Amrita is always good at placements. The reason for me joining this college is placements. But they are also declining gradually. But for now there is no issue with placements in amrita university. for cse related branches placements are really good.

Placements offered in this college are descent. This college offers an average package of 35 LPA. They conducts IV (industrial visit) to train students ready for industry. Every student will need SGPA of above 8.5 for each semeste for good placements. There are hundreds of company will visit for placements such as Google, Microsoft, TCS , iam Neo, amypo, Accenture, Infosys, Capgemini, Zoho and so on.

It is too backwards. It totally is old style not upgrading to the world it STILL uses the anna University pattern though it is a University. the curriculum puts u pressure and non stop work and it is bad but can be adjusted . Main issue is no free time to explore
