- While I was impressed with the college's academic offerings, there were a few aspects that I felt needed improvement. One area of concern was the uniform policy, which I found to be overly restrictive and compulsory.
Remarks :
The admission process for my course was relatively smooth, but with some areas for improvement. The eligibility criteria for the course were clearly outlined on the college website, and I found the application form online with a reasonable application fee. The application dates were well-announced, giving me ample time to prepare and submit my application. I took the CET exam, which was a mandatory requirement for admission, and the cut-off was very high, making it competitive. I had to score above 95% to secure a seat in my preferredcollege. Once I was allotted a seat, I had to fill out the admission form and pay the full year's fees, then log into the student portal provided by the college to confirm my admission. While the process was straightforward, I felt that the college could improve transparency in their communication and provide more guidance throughout the process. Additionally, the high cut-off and competitive exam made it stressful for applicants. Overall, I would rate the admission process 4 out of 5.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would rate the course curriculum as highly relevant and comprehensive, with a few areas for improvement. The curriculum was well-structured and relevant to the field of study, providing a solid foundation in principles and concepts. It was regularly updated to reflect industry trends and advancements, ensuring students were equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.The curriculum covered a wide range of topics, providing a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. I was particularly drawn to the industry relevance, interdisciplinary approach, and research opportunities. The courses emphasized practical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, preparing me well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits.However, I believe the curriculum could be improved by placing more emphasis on soft skills, such as communication and teamwork.
Internships Opportunities :
Around 70% of students are placed in our college, with a lower package of 3 LPA and the highest being around 8 to 10 LPA. So the average goes around 5 LPA per year for the students. The companies that come for placement are also good. my computer Science department, the percentage of placement was about 70–80%, and the highest package offered was about 24 LPA by DE Shaw Company. The best package offered is from TCS Ninja, which is 3.6 LPA. Packages offered range from 4 LPAs to 4.5 LPAs in computer science and its departments. The top recruitment companies are Raja software limited, TCS, Infosys, TCR, Bitwise, CreditSafe, Hexaware, Infobyte, IBM
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure for B.Tech First Year at Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering & Technology is as follows: Tuition: 15000, Development: 39850, Other: 26000, University: 290, Examination: 1250, Alumni: 0, Amartya yojna: 701, Programme Development (M.Tech only): 2241. Total fees: 83091. Hostel fees: 22000, Hostel Deposit: 5000, Co-operative Mess: 24000. Students belonging to reserved categories must apply to the State/Central Government for reimbursement of difference fees. If they don't apply, they are responsible for it.
Campus Life :
My campus life experience has been exceptional, with a perfect blend of social aspects, club involvement, and infrastructure. The campus has a lively atmosphere, with numerous lawns and open spaces, and 3-4 canteens offering a variety of food options. Festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm, including Zenith (sports), Pragya (technical), and Utsav (cultural) events, which are held every year in February or March and feature celebrity performancesThe college has a wide range of clubs, including FSDC (dance), Chitraksh (photography), SWAG (development), and robotics clubs, providing a platform for students to develop their skills and showcase their talents. The infrastructure is modern and well-maintained, with a well-stocked library and classrooms equipped with smartboards and high-speed internet connectivityThe college offers various sports facilities and extracurricular activities, and student-run social groups and portals enhance student life. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied
Faculty :
I was impressed by the faculty members' credentials, which were truly exceptional. Many of them held Ph.D.s from reputable institutions and had published research papers in top-tier journals. Their expertise was evident in the way they taught complex concepts, making them accessible and engaging for students. I was particularly impressed by the way my professors were able to break down complex ideas into simple, easy-to-understand language, making even the most challenging subjects seem manageable.I was also impressed by the faculty's ability to create a sense of community on campus. They organized seminars, workshops, and other events that brought students and faculty together, providing opportunities for networking and collaboration. These events helped to foster a sense of belonging and connection among students, and they provided valuable opportunities for professional development.In conclusion, the faculty at the college were exceptional in their qualifications, teaching methods

Placement Experience :
Companies start coming in early of 7th semester i.e 4th year of the course. Companies visited like Western union, BNY Mellon,H.P, Amdocs,FIS, Vodafone, Capgemini, etc. In 2023-24, the highest package was of 22lpa of Western union, 10-8lpa by BNY Mellon,FIS, Western union. There are Mentors for T&P which helps students to prepare for their placements. Also encouraging them for Entrepreneurship.

Each year has 4 exam with 2 end semester's examinations and 2 mid semester examination. The difficulty level was moderate to difficult.each exam has gap of 2 months in between to exams. Teaching method was best .

Placement Experience :
In 7th semester Students are eligible for placements. So many companies vists the campus and recruits the students. Highest package of college is increasing every year this year it was of 54 lpa in Microsoft. Companies like Capgemini, Persistent,TCS, and many more vists the college. 70 to 80 % students get placed each year. And some of the students also start entrepreneurship one of the example is the startup cooliewala. I will opt for the placements, and them will apply for post graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type t
