The curriculum is very well designed. Having completed my internship recently, I understood the relevance of the courses taught in the very first year of college. It makes sure to strengthen the basics and foundation of the students from the very beginning. The external exams are conducted at the end of each semester. We have internal theoretical exams according to credits allotted to the course and they are marked every practical. The marks are then called down and graded to calculate the final CGPA.
There is a 6 weeks internship at the end of the first year and a 6 month full semester internship in the second half of the 2nd year. There are many properties both from India and abroad which are in good terms with the college and the college gives full support throughout the internship from start till end.

The curriculum is known as the heart of the ‘educational institution’. It is important to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum so as to ensure that the education imparted is helpful for the students. Here are a few ways which can help in evaluating the curriculum: An internal review by the teachers - The teachers can review and revise the curriculum based on their expertise and knowledge. An external review - An external review can be conducted so as to understand the effectiveness of the curriculum. Observation of academic results - An overview and comparison of the results can also help in understanding better the current curriculum and the previous one. Student’s views - Since students are the ones who shall be studying from that curriculum thus probably we can ask for the student’s views on the curriculum development.

The curriculum has been set precisely, the only problem is that the college faculty should go accordingly , improvement can be made , but the curriculum for for the first year is good as it gives us knowledge of all aspects of medicine.
Yes the subject teaching methods are modern and as a learner it's quite applicable in the real world. Practicals start from 2nd year and that's the important part as theory can only take you so far and practical knowledge is important in the medical field
Considering Bsc. Economics is an academic and not a professional degree, the placement cell of our college is fairly decent. Most people don't sit for the placements as they want to pursue masters in economics or an MBA. We have compulsory internships after the 1st and 2nd year which improve employability and work experience. Mostly finance, public think tanks, consulting and marketing/market research companies come for placements. Packeges on average range from 4 lacs to 12 lacs
