To be eligible into the course you need to appear in the JEE mains examination and get 75 %marks in your respective board in PCM. The admission is done through JOSAA counseling. The cutoff for all the branches ranges from 8000-15000 for the OPEN category. For other categories, the details are mentioned on the JOSAA website. No fee waiver based upon category. The admission process is quite a bit hectic and they should specify about the availability of hostels
The course curriculum is very good. You don't have to study physics or chemistry which is of no use in the IT sector which is compulsory in most colleges. The curriculum is not that at par to the industrial standards but it can compete with it. The teachers here have good experience . The course curriculum also includes recreational activities as well as give enough time for self development
The roles offered are mostly of Web developers or software developer. Many top companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Azure, Accenture, Zomato, Uber, Blinkit have come for internships and many have been placed. Internship opportunities for girls are immense from the 1 st year itself as they are provided with many opportunities and they have a good supporting WomenInTech team to guide them
For girls companies start coming in 2nd year for internship and many scholarship opportunities are available for them For boys the companies start coming from the 3rd year. The placement stats are very good and there has been an exponential rise in the placement since recent years. In 2023-2024 the average package was around 30 lacs. Almost 10 students were placed in Google and around 30-40 students were placed in top companies like Zomato, Blinkit, Amazon, Microsoft etc.
First semester fees would be 1,35000 and afterward each sem fees would be 1,27000.Mess fees is 17500 and 15000 for each subsequent semester. Hostel Fees are 6000 for more than three seater rooms and 9000 for three seater rooms. In 1st yr the hostels are not allocated in the campus itself so you might be charged extra but 2 seater rooms will be provided. Speaking of scholarship the institution itself doesn't provide any scholarship on basis of merit or category but you can apply for government scholarship schemes. There are many schemes available for OBC, SC, ST, EWS category students which are listed on the National Scholarship Portal.
Overall the campus life can be boring if you don't make good friends. The facilities available are very limited and not of adequate quality. The fests are not much participative but you can enjoy very much in The DJ nights. There are many cultural clubs for various art forms like dancing, singing, sketching, painting, drama etc
The hostel facilities are subject to availability. The three seater rooms available are good but the condition of rooms for more than three seater. In first year you mostly have to live in hostel outside the campus which would be rented by the institute. In nearby locality one can easily get a flat in around 9-10 k for 1 BHK rooms
Faculty to Student Ration is around 1:20 and he faculties here are PhD scholars and mostly have 10+ yrs of experience. The visiting faculties too have 20+ years of experience in the industry. The teachers are helpful in doubt solving or resolving any query regarding academics and there are not much classes giving ample time for self development
The curriculum prepares students well for both corporate careers and higher studies. It focuses on developing analytical thinking, leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Regular guest lectures by industry experts, workshops, seminars, and internship opportunities provide exposure to real business environments and help students understand current industry trends. These experiences increase confidence and improve employability.
