The admission process was easy and fluent if we keep the long lines aside. I got admission directly on the marks based on my 12th marks as it was bachelor's. The application forms are available on their on website. The exams are held after an interval of every 2 months. The improvement I would say is they should make it online so there would be no long lines.
BSc CSE consists of maths, electronics, statistics and programming language as its main subjects and they are full of knowledge and it helps us, we even have practicals in our curriculum so even that helps and also the main subjects are moderately hard so it's better for an average student like me.
Companies like tcs, Infosys, Mahindra infotech, etc. are some of the companies which visit. They offer various roles such as data engineers, software engineers, etc. The projects are mostly done with the help of dsa and the outcomes are handled by the teachers'.
Students become eligible for campus placements after 5th semester. Mostly there are 4-5 companies which visit during campus visits. The highest package last year provided to bsc.cs student was of 6lpa and average package is around 4lpa. Around 30-40% students get placements. My plans after getting degree is to pursue higher education.
The fees I pay for my course Bsc. cs is around 37000rs in the general category it includes all the charges(lab fees, admission fees, registration fees, etc.) and I pay around 1500 for my examination fees each sem(if there are no backlogs), and as per my knowledge the fees is around 1-2k for the students with reservation (st/sc) we got one scholarship last year which paid around 10k.
Campus life is moderate not good not bad either, you can apply to sports as we have lots of sports options here, the only thing is if you have friends from opposite genders then you can't really sit with them inside classrooms or on campus as the managing staff is not happy with it. There are student association elections every year. There are books available for free in the library for free.
The faculty members are well educated mostly undergraduates but the higher members (Hod) have PhD's and some are even engineer's. Faculty members mostly are helpful and cheerful some are a little strict but you get used to it, we interact with them every week due to practicals. Faculty members help us briefly during our intership programs.
The course in itself is very excellent and very well tailored for us students If studied well then after graduating you will be ready to face the job sector Yearly 2 semester exams are conducted which include internal and external exams
the placements are average in our college it is aroung 4-5lpa and there are 3-4 companies which come every year and hire students. 30-40% students are hired every year and get intership programs are also there
### Placements at My College Placements are a crucial aspect of a college's reputation and the future success of its graduates. My college offers robust campus placement support, with a dedicated career services team that works tirelessly to ensure students are well-prepared and have access to a wide range of opportunities. ### Eligibility for Campus Placements Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the beginning of their final year of study. For most undergraduate programs, this means starting in the seventh semester. However, some companies may start the recruitment process earlier, in the sixth semester, particularly for internships that can lead to full-time offers. ### Companies Visiting the Campus A diverse range of companies visit the campus every year, spanning various industries such as technology, finance, consulting, manufacturing, and more. Some of the prominent companies that regularly recruit from our college.
The curriculum's focus on practical skills and real-world applications attracted me to this course. The curriculum effectively bridges theory and practice, preparing students for both careers and further studies. Incorporate more hands-on projects and update teaching methods to include modern technologies and practices. Exams are frequent and well-timed, with a balanced difficulty level that appropriately challenges students.
