- Dibrugarh University Central library is one of the main center of attraction because of it's beautiful ambience
- The Dibrugarh University campus is beautiful
- The university park is also very attractive.
Dislikes
- The space of our department is not such big .
- It's lab has not sufficient facilities ,lack of microscope
- Hostel seats are limited.many of the deserving students don't get the chance to stay in hostel
Remarks :
The admission process was offline through selection via entrance test.There were certain reservation for different categories, although the General category students has to face some problems since limited seats were available for them.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course has many scope in biological science.For this very reason it has attracted me to choose this course.Wider aspects in research field as well.But the exam pattern is quite disappointing since we get no time between exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The admission fees for the academic session 2023-2024 is 9,110.The tuition fees,lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course are itself added in the admission fee since our department is fully government , it's fee structure is comparatively less than other private centre
Campus Life :
The Campus life is astonishing.I am glad that I got the chance to enroll myself in Dibrugarh University since it provides us with ample of opportunities in near future.Moreover it has Library facilities with collection of good book stock .
Faculty :
The faculty of our department is no doubt , excellent.The professor are well educated and provide us with quality education.They try their best to interact with students but the main problem lies is that there exists certain ratio of partially . some students since they are in continuous contact with the professor are treated well.Anyways the faculty provide us with quality education.

The course of various departments consists of both core papers and generic electives (GE). The core paper aims to make the students expert in their respective major subjects, while the generic elective subject aims to broaden the student's area of interest in other departments also.

Actually there is very less competition in this subject as there are very less students. And I like solving mathematical problems so i chose this subject. Exams are conducted 3 times in a semester. 2 sessionals and 1 final end semester exam.

Choosing Master of Life Sciences in DU is due to several compelling reasons like Career Advancement here is better in terms of other universities in Assam. The course design by Dibrugarh University is more relevant and close to the exam like NET, SLET CTET etc. The laboratory courses and practicals help us to understand almost all the instrument used in biology lab hence helping us in future like during PhD or in case anyone chooses to be laboratory assistant etc.
