- I strongly dislike the newly added ug programmes in our university
- I dislike the fact that there are too many unused land area in our university
- I also dislike the unorganised functions that has been held in the university
Remarks :
The eligibility depends upon the course which you want to take. Moreover, the fee structure is comparatively less as compared to other universities. In addition, the students with below the poverty line get a relaxation in the fee amount.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course of various departments consists of both core papers and generic electives (GE). The core paper aims to make the students expert in their respective major subjects, while the generic elective subject aims to broaden the student's area of interest in other departments also.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In university, there is a great opportunity for the students who live in the hostel as they are provided with an amount of 8,500 on a yearly basis. Also, the students who have caste certificates get a scholarship of 4500 in a yearly basis.
Campus Life :
The overall experience is way too hard to compile in a few words. Apart from the academic field it also helps students to build a strong personality and also makes the students socially more active and enthusiastic.
Hostel Facilities :
The campus has both boys and girls hostel with a suitable fee structure. The students get selected depending upon their merit or marks and also during the time of admission the distance of homeland of the students is taken into consideration.
Faculty :
The teachers are very highly qualified and obliged to their profession.They are designated with PhD and mphil and other various degrees . The teachers are also full of moral principles and undivided attention towards the students.

The course has many scope in biological science.For this very reason it has attracted me to choose this course.Wider aspects in research field as well.But the exam pattern is quite disappointing since we get no time between exams.

There are so many courses options to select as our special paper . As our wish we could select any of the available subject . Also the core paper include all the topics in the syllabus in the 1st and 2 nd sem that are needed for any qualified exam like net jrf

Actually there is very less competition in this subject as there are very less students. And I like solving mathematical problems so i chose this subject. Exams are conducted 3 times in a semester. 2 sessionals and 1 final end semester exam.

Choosing Master of Life Sciences in DU is due to several compelling reasons like Career Advancement here is better in terms of other universities in Assam. The course design by Dibrugarh University is more relevant and close to the exam like NET, SLET CTET etc. The laboratory courses and practicals help us to understand almost all the instrument used in biology lab hence helping us in future like during PhD or in case anyone chooses to be laboratory assistant etc.
