- Seating arrangements are very old fashioned and need to update
- Fans in the classroom are really slow and it become very hot during summer
- Classrooms are old and junked it should be clean thoroughly
Remarks :
I was admitted to Siliguri college in the year 2023. Even though I passed out +2 in the year 2021 I took a one-year gap because I was confused about my career but lastly, I decided to do bsc hons in computer science.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Programing and coding is a thing that made me interested towards computer science. Teachers make us do practicals that's the plus point of our course. Because programming is a thing where theoretical knowledge is not enough.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course of my fees is 18000 for six semesters. It's an appropriate figure for bsc hons. In computer science for a government college because I am a general caste that's why my fees are a little bit higher than the smaller caste people
Campus Life :
Siliguri college is well known for its cultural and social programs. Every year new students are welcomed with a grand freshers party where celebrities singer are invited to perform and everyone dances and enjoys
Faculty :
The teachers of Siliguri College are really good and they are really experienced and their teaching techniques are also good they make us understand in every language english Hindi and Bangla. They even make us do practical

In the real world they dont do any thing, they just focus on their studies but according to me they should focus on the students growth too , few skills which are very required rather than making projects. The course is nice but study methods are not implemented.

Our college every year throws a freshers party to welcome all the new students . Its a environment of joy and cheerfull. The college union invited famous singers and musicians every year to perform in this ospicios program . Teaching methods are good but i suggest of putting smart screens in every classes beacuse the students sitting in back benches cannot really see the board. Every year there is one semester exam held in our college and the fees of every exam is almost 1k . The difficulty increases every year.
