Eligibility of the course is 12th pass minimum required. Admission is offline as well as Online process. But yet, they feel scholarships reduce if they don't maintain their cgpa.
The course plan is really effective for the upcoming real world applications and challenges, trains the students in such a way that he or she is qualified for joining the industry right after the course is completed. The exams are conducted regularly keeping the students be up to date and constantly be on par with the syllabus instead of lagging behind. If a mains or advanced level student attempts these tests, it would be moderately difficult.
If the student has talent and gets enough support from the faculty, there are good opportunities for internships. Companies change from year to year but the average stipend is around 20k per month considering all the branches into account.
Campus placements is available from the 6th or 7th semester. It differs for different branches. In electronics, some of the famous companies are Bosch, samsung, and more. The highest package changes from branch to branch. The overall highest package in year 2023 is 43lpa. More than 70% of the students get placed in every branch. I would prefer doing higher education if I don't get a package worth my value. I think it is not worth it to waste your time if you don't get the package you deserve.
The tution fee is regulated based on the scores the student achives in the entrance exam, if u don't qualify for the scholarship category, there is still an option to join through non scholarship, but the fee is comparatively high for that.
There are many clubs and social activities that take place. Some of the famous clubs are robotics, computing, naatya(dance), raaga(musical). Not many events take place in the college, but there are 2 events namely gokulashtami and anokha which are celebrated grandly for three or more days for each. Talking about sports and extracurricular activities, they are really good and good infrastructure is provided for every aspect. But it is the students responsibility to maintain balance between extracurricular and education. If not, they are going to face a tough time
The hostel changes from year to year, there are good hostels, which are new and also old and shabby hostels. The hostel I am staying in is an old one, with four students in each room. It is a little clumsy but if the student likes the group of roommates and the vibe with other hostel mates, they can enjoy to the fullest, else it is not going to work out.
The faculty is overall good in the campus. Every thirty students are assigned to one mentor which is 1:30 ratio. Not all the faculty is well qualified enough for the subject, there r some faculty who just open slides and read them out.
3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. The highest and average package as per company and profiles offered forgien company in the karpagam college. Percentage of students getting placements 95 of students.
8th semester students are only eligible to attend the campus interviews based upon the criteria provided by the company. Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, chettinad cement, etc... are visit this college. Highest salary package is 9LPA lowest package is 1lpa and average 3 - 4 LPA. Percentage of the students selected for the placement is 50% in that students got selected by the company are 35%. Only 10% from the whole strength are getting placed with good job and package. My plan aftery graduation is do some specialisation courses try to get placed in top companies with higher salary package.
Course curriculum was much better compared to other colleges. Some subjects were thought from the basics so that students can easily remember as much they can. Course curriculum was also updated year by year.
my college placements are very good.my college is known for its placements in chennai.it places its student in top companies they also train students on how to crack off campus interview our strudents are placed in microsoft and other companies

My college's course program is widely recognized for its thoroughness and relevancy. It includes fundamental ideas and real-world applications, closely matching the norms and practices of the industry today. The solid foundation of core disciplines is complemented by elective options that enable the pursuit of particular interests. Nonetheless, in order to reflect the most recent advancements in the discipline, some sections would benefit from more frequent updating. All things considered, the curriculum provides a comprehensive and well-rounded educational experience that successfully equips students for challenges in the workplace and in the classroom.
From the 5th semester the students are eligible for placement training. The students can also try off campus placements even in their 2 nd year. There are many companies visiting our college.some of them are cognizant, Zoho , Infosys and so on. The average package is 6.5 lakhs per annum and highest package is 33 to 35 lakhs per annum.
