Persuing MBBS is a dream of many people in India, every year around 20-25 lacs students appear for NEET exam and government colleges are best and affordable for this course .Many people from different background specially privileged sector patients are seen in the OPD,you can get a lot of exposure before you start to practice as a doctor.
The teaching methods can be improvised as there are majority of the professors who bring a pre made ppt and just come up in the lecture to read it out loud. Interactive and on spot teaching using board or smart tv can be a better approach
As such no placement drives are organised but the students are offered to work here itself as tutors because most students prefer to study for pg entrance exams . The college itself places them in various departments.
The course and curriculum at BRD Medical College are designed to align with current medical standards and practices. They cover a comprehensive range of medical subjects and are updated periodically to incorporate new medical knowledge and practices. The curriculum is well-structured, with a clear progression from basic sciences to more advanced clinical subjects. The integration of theoretical knowledge with practical skills is well-balanced, allowing students to apply what they learn in real-world settings. While research is a part of the curriculum, there could be more emphasis on research methodology and opportunities for students to engage in meaningful research projects. Increased support and resources for research would enhance this aspect of the curriculum. The use of modern technology in the curriculum, such as digital learning tools and simulation labs, could be expanded.
