- IIMC Curriculum is pretty good for young professionals who just want to enter into the industry
- Campus of IIMC is so beautiful. If you walk in the month of February and March in campus you will get definitely a wonderful experience there.
Dislikes
- IIMC is India's top media institute but Infrastructure wise it needs improvement.
- IIMC have hostels but seats are so few. Need to accomodate all enrolled students.
- Asia's biggest media Library shuts after 8:00 PM that's not good. It can be improve.
Remarks :
Application for IIMC is under CUET. You have to Select Mass Communication Entrance paper of CUET PG. After filling the form you have to prepare for the examination, minimum before 01 month of the date. Reservation are there in the seats. EWS, OBC, SC, ST. There is an age limit for candidates with the relaxation according to there reservation category. Cut Off of Examination totally depends on how tough or easier questions are being asked in paper. There is no previous year cut off concept in this particular examination.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is so practical based. Curriculum includes Practical more than theory that helps to understand day today work at Industry. Highlight of curriculum is with the time curriculum is also amended. Media Ethics, Media Management, History of journalism are main highlight of curriculum.
Placement Experience :
After completion of course, placement starts. Before sitting in placement you have to complete your 1 month internship in any organisation. After completion you got the certificate and you have to submit the same at office. Placement starts company comes and pitches there requirements, Salary Package, Openings and all. Package is between 2 Lakh to 4 Lakh
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees Structure for Different courses are different. It depends on practicals. IIMC offers PG Diploma in 5 Type of courses. Hindi Journalism, English Journalism, Radio and TV Journalism, Digital Media, Advertising and Public Relation. Diffrent course diffrent fees Structure. Hindi Journalism Fees Structure is 95500 in 2 semesters.
Faculty :
Faculties are experienced. IIMC have number of faculties and institute invite faculties from outside also. Student Teacher ration is lump sum maintained at Institute. Institute Faculties are helping in nature as well.
