- The most liked thing in this course is course structure. Its updated accordingly to industry demand and its very very rigorous.
- Again flexibility given by college makes it a unique programme.Even a working professional can join this program and upskill them.
- The IIT tag and alumnus status of most prestigious institute s another benefit of this programme.You will get connection with alumnus of IIT Madras.
Dislikes
- The one thing I don't like is the teaching style of some professor.Specially Maths professor they always read solutions only.
- Second thing is the placement data is not shared regularly.You need to ask to get placement data shared
- Course Curriculum is Hectic and programming exam is too hard
Remarks :
For addmission in this degree you need to give IIT Madras Qualifier exam which is very easy.You just need to pass exam based on four. Week content provided by college.There are three semester in one year and each semester we have 3 exams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Data science is emerging field and course Curriculum of this college makes us industry ready for this domain.Teaching method is very good . Course Instructor teaches very well . The content designed by professors are detailed and upgraded.
Internships Opportunities :
The Placement Data is yet to be released.In Fourth year you can apprenticeship opportunity can get credit accordingly to your apprenticeship duration. As per seniors some students opt for higher studies.Acoording to them average placement is around 12 lpa. And average internship stipend is around 20k per month
Placement Experience :
After Second year you become eligible for internship and after third year you are eligible for placement.The highest and lowest package are yet to know .You can do MS after this degree and also mtech. You can apply for phd also
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for this course is approx 4 lakhs.But you will various scholarships based on your family income .You acn get upto 75% off on your course fee if your family income is less than 1 lakhs per annum.
Campus Life :
Here the annual fest is called Paradox.This usually happens in month of may june.This fest consists of many extracurricular activities such as cricket competition swimming competition etc. In college you will find evry type of club .You can join any club accordingly to your interest.
Faculty :
The Faculty here are highly knowledgeable and have their phd in their respective feild.But some of them lack teaching skill .To compliment this we have course instructor.The course instructor are Phd students or mtech students.Their teaching style is very good

Placement Experience :
The year-wise fees you paid (or will be paying). Mention the Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the category (like Management, SC, ST). Also, share the fees of your batchmates for categories other than yours. Names and amounts of scholarships or financial aid that are available for students. Like merit cum need.

From 2nd year onwards you become eligible for placements. I didnt visit any company as I just got into second year. Highest package hits like 50LPA and average package is like 12LPA My plan is to start my own startup in Data Science after getting my degree.

Placements are good, as the degree is completely online, but it is nowhere mentioned in the certificate, IIT helps one to get good package in Data Science fields, maybe the college does not provide placemnts, but students have gotten in big companies through off-campus placements

From 3rd year onwards students can be part of placement assistance. Moreover, throughout four years you receive offers for internships. As it is a new degree so no official data is avaliable on name of companies and no. of offers. However, though sources it is shared that avergae package range around 15- 20 lakhs per annum. I plan to do my masters in data science from some American University.
