I have taken admission from Spot round ie. Against CAP. Cut off for General category was 96.5%tile in cet and 89%tile for jee, for spot round general was about 94.5%tile for cet and 86%tile for jee For reseravtion OBC benefit is about 15000/- but students taken admission from spot are not eligible for benefits. Spot admission was for those who were present at the time of admission which was so time consuming college should take proper merite list students for their preferance.
I choose this course because it teaches us more about Entrepreneurship. Our exam are generally based on application of Knowledge.Exam pattern is MSE+TA+ESE which is midsem(30) + teachers assesment(10) + endsem(60).Exam's are quite easy to pass but difficult to get full marks.I don't like the teaches assesment because every faculty have their own method to evaluate and it becomes headace.Every year student's have to do intership from First to Fourth year which has 2 credits, so students gain practical knowledge and are ready for real-world application.
After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed. The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.
Fee structure for cet general category is 135000/- where 15000/- is tuition fee and 120000/- is other development charges. For TFWS and other Category only benefit students gets about 15000/- only. There are about 6 events where there is 1 technical fest(Mindspark in the mont of September),other is Annual Gathering in December, Pune-Start up fest in December, Bhau's innovation + Zest in december and January and Regatta in march. The library is huge almost all department and other cocurriculum, self help books can be accessible. Also a new library building is underconstruction. The sports facilities are good you can play Cricket, basketball, football, valleyball, badminton, tabletennis etc
Faculty to Students ratio is about 1:15,I think that is good because as compared to other colleges there is no overcrowding of students in the class. Faculties are very highly qualified and their approach is to engage students for more and more self-study and to gain practical knowledge despite some faculties don't take it so seriously I usualy interact with faculty during lab and at the time of submission. All Faculties have friendly nature and they always make's us believe that there is hope in this branch and you made a right decision by taking admission.
You are eligible for placements from 7th semester which is from 4th year , there are multiple companies visited for placements some of them are Amazon , Cognizant , TCS , Accenture and much more big companies, the highest package offered is about 42 lpa and Bagged is about 35 lpa from clg , and the average package is about 6 to 8 lpa
The course curriculum according to me is to old and it should be updated accordingly and kept more practical oriented and more towards coding and curricular activities. The exams are moderate and not much difficult but the course should be changed.
The placement cell of the our college is excellent and have good interaction with students. Many top MNCs companies come for recruitment of students such as Accenture, Amazon, Wipro, Conigznat, Infosys, TCS etc. The highest package achieved by student of our college is 40LPA.The average package of our college is around 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% student get placed above average package.
The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is fine. The pattern follwed is of sppu 2019 pattern and in first year all the subjects are same for all the students then in second year all the students get into there specific branches. i jus dont like a thing lik eif i am computer student so why should i do thing which is for mechnical studnets that a thing i hate about the pattern but we can't halp it in real.
Campus placements are average like average package in our college is 3lpa. Many companies visit college. Student are eligible for campus placements from 4th year 1 sem. 93% student are placed in our college. And that is not bad.
After the second year those students who have cleared all semester without any kt in subject are eligible for campus placement. The company like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini and etc like hired students from my campus.
As this era is said to be computer era that's why I have choosen this course . This course is related to technology and technology is need for time nowadays. My branch is Computer Engineering and this is 4 years course.
