- At present the university is very good, the faculty is also good and there are some shortcomings in it like lack of proper maintenance of the university infrastructure
- The life in the university campus is very good and there are many trees and plants, grounds and a lot of good people here.
- The facilities in the university campus are okay but not that good. The cleanliness is taken care of here and the facilities in the second year hostel are not that good.
- The education in the school is very good. Classes are held every day and level is also taken and efforts are made to give a better education to the students.
Dislikes
- I don't like the second year hostel in the university and they don't pay much attention to cleanliness there.
- There is a lot of problem of electricity in the university hostel, electricity keeps coming and going every day
- There is not much attention paid to cleanliness in the university and there is not much power either
Remarks :
Candidates should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate for admissions to BTech course at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly. Also, MJPRU BTech admission is entrance exam based. Candidates need to clear JEE Main for admissions. The duration of the course is for four years.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have taken this course by looking at my interest. I was interested in doing electrical work, that is why I chose this course. This course will help me to go much further in the future and this course is very good. This course will help me to work in future activities. In future, everything is going to be dependent on electricity. Keeping this in mind, I chose this course. This course is of 4 years in which there are 8 semesters. Each semester is of 6 months and exams of each semester are also held within 6 months.
Internships Opportunities :
The university provides intercity which is based on your marks but apart from that you can also apply for internship at some other place which is much better. The university provides selected internships but the university internship is not that good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition Tuition fee is calculated on the basis of 1st year. 3.01 L Hostel Hostel Caution money: Rs.2500/- (Excluded) Mess Charges Rs. 2,500 per month. At the time of admission, six months’ advance Mess charges have to be deposited. Candidates have to paid Hostel fee Rs. 12,550/- at the time of reporting at MJP Rohilkhand Universtiy, Bareilly. For the government girls hostel (for SC/ST girls only) inside the campus: hostel fee is Rs. 9,550/- instead of Rs. 12,550/. Scholarship given by the government is approximately 50k to 90k
Campus Life :
University campus is very beautiful, if you want to enjoy college life, then this place is for you or if you want to prepare for a competetive exam then you can come here but if you want your bright future from college, then it is possible here Is not because the company comes very little here. Every year here some students get very good rank in the gate and take admission in IITs for M.tech or get jobs in big company, if you are hard working then you can come here. Here in every class you will find students coming from different districts. You will get to learn a lot from this, such as about the famous place of all the districts and where there are good companies in those districts. And there is a very good fresher party here. Seniors are also very helpful here.
Hostel Facilities :
The university hostel is not that special. The hostel facility is better for the first year students but the second year hostel is not good. The food in the hostel is not like home food but it is okay. The registration process in the hostel is through a form. You have to get the form from the university and then fill the form and submit it.
Faculty :
The assistant students are very good and very good. They help me in every work and support me completely. The teachers are also very good and support the students completely. Most of the teachers are from IIT. The teachers are very good. I have talked to my teachers many times. During this time, they have supported me a lot and explained to me at many places.
Interview Experience :
Here admission is done through G Mains score and if seats remain vacant then it is based on intermediate marks. For admission, first of all we have to go to the university website and apply online. The fee for admission is Rs. 150 and later there is counseling in several rounds through which you can take admission.

There is a good placement in this college. There are many companies arriving in the campuse for the placement of students. I am student of bachelor of technology ( computer science engineering) so I knew about it only the placement start from 3rd year in this college. The percentage of getting placement is 60% of the total students.

The placement of the college are pretty decent comparing to other AKTU colleges as GL Bajaj fakes there placement ABES doesn't the reality is if have put enough efforts in first 2 years you can get the placement in the 3rd year itself. Students are eligible to sit in placement from 6-7th semester. As the placement of this session has started as of now several companies have visited the campus like TCS ACCENTURE AGGAO etc and have placed number of students even in harsh recession condition. Highest package offered last year was 50 LPA i don't know if that was on campus or off campus but that's what college has put in their site. Average package is of 7.4 LPA. Branches like CSE CS has 100% placement which is surprisingly too good. I hope to get placed into a decent company for the starting not putting my hopes too high 7-8 LPA would be a perfect start nevertheless.
