Goodies about my college life
Likes
- First of all, I love north bengal due to its weather, in summer season the weather is super comfortable
- The campus is huge fully covered by natural plants, there are different playgrounds for various soprts
- Also the senior junior interaction is kinda enjoyable, besides the hostel are clean
Dislikes
- Sometimes, in late summer the weather becomes little bad due to increased humidity
- No nearby stores for groceries and also the restaurants are far away
- The natural plants often overgrows causing the appearances of snake, insects etc.
Remarks :
Well, the thought of admitting to a medical college often causes some insecurities. But here is why, you should never worry about that, the seniors. They were just so helpful during the admission process, they told every single process and document that needed to be checked thoroughly Talk about dislikings, I really didn't face any
Course Curriculum Overview :
First of all , the 1st year is of basic learning having subjects of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. Anatomy is kinda huge indeed but also it's interesting to learn about your own bodyparts. In 2nd year's subject, they are connected to previous year's subject, and this trend is going on upto the last year. In the last year the internship is what many students who are in school are often dreamed of.
Internships Opportunities :
Other than engineering, here's no companies involves, after internship everyone will be posted as physician in different hospitals all over the state. Also one can do post graduation, super speciality to have even better salary
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As it's a govt. Medical college, so the fee structure is often comprehensive, Rs. 4500 for every semester of a total 9 and for admission there's 1000 and for surveillance, there's 1000. Also, the hostel fees are just so cheap, it's only 12 per month
Campus Life :
Academic fest is there also every well-known persons Birthday is celebrated, also saraswati puja is celebrated in very creative ways by the students. In library u can find every possible books for your subject. Facilities are good also the technological developments are seen in the machinerys of hospital and also the classroom is highly comfortable with sufficient lights and AC. Regularly, the various sport's are being played by the students. So, no lack of sport's culture.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are of 3 persons having sufficient spaces also separate almirahs, chair, table and bed Canteen is just awesome, beside good quality food, you can find icecreams, cold drinks during summer time. There's no problems in hostel registration just have the signature of the principal that's all and it's super cheap just 144 yearly
Faculty :
The faculty members are great in knowledge and also in the skill of teaching. After all they are all doctors, however, specifically some of the faculty members are specialised or say, more efficient in knowledge, some others are in teaching or, making the student learn clearly, others have the ability to manage things, So, overall I think they're some perfect combination which is definitely required.

Medical profession is a dream for every middle class student. This only reason brings me here . Further the work in the medical field is great work , its serving the society .The more advanced technical things should be included with leaving some non needed old concepts it will help to decrease the work load Exams are very frequent we need to pass those exams .
