Likes
- Faculty is quite good, experienced and knowledgeable.
- Teachers provide both practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Good facilities, hostel facilities, and nice infrastructure.
Dislikes
- No proper schedule for classes is followed.
- They don't have proper canteen only mess for hostel and regular students.
Remarks :
There is entrance test which applications starts from june to july. The entrance is quiet easy for deserving candidates. All the details about the form and examination date are provided on its official website which is www.nmi.com. There is some reservations for OBC and Sc/ST candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always had an interest in culture and heritage and then suddenly came to the decision to give a chance to this course. The teachers shared the real-world challenges they had with us to make us aware of the reality we are going to face in the fields. The teaching methods are quite easy and interactive.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for the MA courses is Rs.15000 per year with some additional admission charges. If you want to live in the hostel so the hostel fee is around 7-8k per month for a single room and three times food included. They do provide some scholarships also. They are going to provide you with an internship at the end of the course too which will be paid around a 6k stipend
Campus Life :
The college doesn't have any social groups or societies for students' curriculum activities. There is the library on the campus where you will find a lot of books, and journals and the whole institute is fully AC. Social life is quiet not there in the institution.
Faculty :
The faculty is really knowledgeable, experienced, understanding and interactive. They teachers are always there to help the students. They always organize theroretical and practical sessions both for the better understanding of the concepts and knowledge for the students.

it's a 3 hour paper and i think the time is good enough although we always have this day that the paper was too lengthy and we should get more time but some students completes their paper in the given timeframe so i think it's just that we have to be a bit faster the course is of course applicable in present times as we can see the climate change happening so we can relate we research on Himalayas and we get to know that the fragile ecosystem of Himalayas is not suitable for infrastructure that is already taking place that causes landslides and further hurts the humans

Actually I have choose the course of bachelor of arts after that Iam pursuing ma English literature and siggest the areas for improved the course and good teaching method and I am doing prepare the exam because du exam is very difficult and easy and the frequency and timing exam 3 hours
