Which is the better university, Chitkara Punjab or Chitkara Himachal?
Posted On - Jun 16, 2021Comparably, Chitkara Panjab is better than Chitkara Himachal. It offers better academics and the faculties are more experienced. Chitkara Panjab has a vibrant campus. It is located near two major cities, Patiala and Chandigarh.
Both campuses, i.e. Panjab and Himachal fall under the same system and management. The placement opportunities are the same for both campuses.
Chitkara University, Punjab was earlier under PTU. As for Chitkara University, Baddi, the college has been a private university from the very start. However, now, Chitkara University Punjab is also a private university and it is no longer affiliated with PTU.
- According to my friends at Chitkara, as far as the campus is concerned, both of them come under the same management, authority, and system.
- The placements are not that different either. Most companies coming to both these colleges do not differentiate between the students of both the campuses.
- Ideally speaking, there is really no difference between the two campuses in terms of education as well as opportunities.

But, if you are still looking for minor differences,
- Chitkara University, Punjab is perhaps better than Chitkara University, Baddi as the former has a much more vibrant campus as compared to the latter.
- Moreover, it is also closer to two major cities, i.e. Chandigarh and Patiala and is located on the CHD-Rajpura highway. Therefore, you will definitely have better connectivity here.
So, if you have an option to choose between these two colleges, my advice to you would be to choose Chitkara University, Punjab over Chitkara University, Baddi.
