Which is better, IIIT Sri City or JNTU Hyderabad? Is IIIT a low standard when compared to JNTU Hyderabad?
Posted On - Mar 16, 2021IIIT Sri City is better than JNTU Hyderabad. It has a better peer group which is reflected in the higher cutoff requirements. IIIT Sri City follows the course structure and curriculum of IIIT Hyderabad. So, you will receive better learning and resources.
The institute has maintained an excellent placement record over the years. Companies such as Microsoft, Intel, Amazon, etc. take part in IIIT Sri City placements. The average CTC offered is around INR 6 LPA.
One of my friends was in JNTU, and he knew very well how it is felt to be in this institute. He once told me that one of his friends, namely Ankit, never failed, not even in his life until he took admission in this institute. Yes, definitely it is a good college, and he had given his end semester of the first-year very well. However, the paper evaluation process of JNUT flunked him, although he never minded this, as he was frail in science subjects.
In the second year, he gave his first semester exam. In this exam, he was sure that he would fail in 2 subjects. Surprisingly he got pass marks in these two subjects, and he thanked this institute. But the thing is that he failed in his favorite subjects.
In the second semester, he had to give an exam on all the core subjects. He gave the second-semester exam, but he again failed in 5 subjects out of 6 subjects in total. There was no clue that why he failed in these core subjects examination.
So, it can be stated that JNUT is definitely a good institute, but sometimes it becomes bad.
