What is the cut off for NMIMS Mumbai in NMAT?

NMIMS is one of the top private institutions of the country. Graded ‘A+’ and accredited by NAAC, it offers UG, PG, and research programs. It offers a plethora of courses such as BBA, BBA+MBA, MBA, B.Tech., B.Com., MPT, etc. To be eligible for MBA studies at the institute, students need to appear for the NMAT entrance exam.

  • Usually, NMAT cut-offs for top MBA colleges such as NMIMS are in a fairly high range of 92 to 96.
  • Based on the analysis of previous years’ papers, one must aim to solve 77 to 83 questions in 120 minutes.
  • A score of 200, which is equivalent to 91.1% is required for students to get admission in NMIMS, Bangalore. At the same time, students need a score of 208, equivalent to 94% to get admission in NMIMS, Mumbai.
  • 90% is required for admission in NMIMS, Hyderabad.
  • One needs a score of 230 to get above 99 percentile. For 95 percentile, one needs a score of 212. Similarly, a score of 200 gets one above 90 percentile.
  • Those appearing for the entrance exam must try to solve 80 questions with 85% accuracy.

  • Some of the cut-off determining factors are the number of seats in a program, number of applicants, difficulty level of the test, number of students appearing for the exam, and cut-offs of the previous years.
  • The selection process and merit list preparation for admission take into account factors such as NMAT score, personal interview, written ability test, GD, academic record, work experience and diversity, both gender and academics-wise.

Interested individuals must learn about the NMAT exam properly before attempting it. NMAT scores determine whether one will be selected for further rounds of admission process or not and thus carry a lot of weightage.
