• Bhubaneswar Railway Station is about 14.5 km away from the campus and you will be able to reach the campus in approximately 25 mins.

Campus

AIIMS Bhubaneswar campus is beautiful and offers an amazing learning experience.

• In the center of the campus, you will find the AIIMS Hospital & Trauma Center.
• The back side of the campus has the AIIMS medical college with the admin building and nursing college on opposite sides.
• South of the admin building, you will find the AIIMS Bhubaneswar Auditorium. 
• To the corner opposite the Auditorium building, lies the residential complex.

Student Union: It is a student-governed body that is headed by an executive body that is elected every year from students of the 6th semester 

Annual Fest

• The Students’ Union is responsible for organizing the Inter AIIMS Inter Medics fest named CHIASMA.
• The fest was attended by medical students from state government and private medical colleges who showcased their talents through a variety of events

Hostel Facility

• For MBBS students, there are three boys’ hostels and 2 girls’ hostels.
• Nursing and Ph.D. students are allotted single rooms
• A typical room in AIIMS hostels is spacious with basic amenities like a bed, a table, a chair, and a wardrobe.
• First-year students are made to share the rooms but as you move into the second year, you will get single rooms.
• There are 8 floors in the hostel building that are connected by working elevators.

• The campus is highly safe as SIS security guards are on alert 24/7.

• AIIMS Bhubaneswar has 2 messes and 2 canteens providing decent food to MBBS students.
•  Mess food rates are not very high.
• AIIMS Bhubaneswar has excellent sports facilities including a volleyball court, a football court, a cricket field, 2 badminton courts, and 2 TT boards.

One of my friends studied at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. According to her, it had a really enthusiastic crowd and an atmosphere appropriate for education. 

• Every department has great coordination among them. 
• You will be taught 3 subjects in the first year: Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry.
• The food provided by the mess is of average quality, but you will get used to it. It is comparatively affordable.
• For now, OPDs are closed, hence only emergency cases are being taken up. Therefore, workload was on the lighter side.
• For MBBS students, there are 3 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels. 
• Security is very strict in the campus
• A volleyball court, a football court, a cricket field, 2 badminton courts & 2 TT boards comprise the sports facilities at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

Overall, the campus is huge and campus life is amazing. AIIMS Bhubaneswar also has various unique facilities such as Body donation, Embalming, Cold storage facilities, and Organ donation.
