The passing mark for BSc PCM at CCS University is 40 out of 100 for a subject. Whereas, students need to score at least 50% overall to qualify in a semester. In practical subjects, you need to score a minimum of 17 out of 50 to pass.

Apart from these, there are two additional qualifying papers. You need to score passing marks in these papers as well.

Students pursuing a one-year B.Sc. (PCM) at CCS University have a total of six subjects.

Physics:

  • Physics consists of 200 marks, with 50 marks for practical and 150 marks for theory.
  • You have three books in physics, each of which has 50 marks and in which you must score 16.5(17 approx) in each book.

Chemistry:

It follows the same pattern as Physics.

Math:

  • For Maths, the total mark is 200, and there are three volumes with varying marks in each.
  • Two math books have 65 marks each, while one has 70 marks, and the passing scores are 21.45 (about 22) and 23.1. In math, a total of 66 marks out of 200 are required.

Foundation course:

The first-year foundation course is Bhartiya Sanskriti, an objective-type 100-mark course in which you must score 34 marks.

Qualifying courses:

In first year, there are two qualifying courses. Both are objective-type papers with 100 marks each, and passing grades are 34 marks in each.

Also, note that Foundation course marks are included in our overall score, but qualifying course marks are not. However, you need to pass Q.C., to qualify for the nest year.
