Which university is better in LLB studies, Lucknow university or Allahabad university?
Posted On - Sep 22, 2021Allahabad University LLB will be a better option. Being a central university it offers better academics and resources. The Law faculty of Allahabad University is excellent. The environment on campus is competitive and inspires learning. As a student of AU, you will also have a locational advantage, since Allahabad Highcourt is located closer to the campus.
Allahabad University is surely not a wise choice for LLB. One of my friends is pursuing his LLB degree from Allahabad University. He says he is regretting this decision of choosing it.
Currently, the LLB faculty is worse and things like the moot court, which is very important for an LLB student, is not yet made.
So I suggest you go to Lucknow university if you want to pursue LLB.
Both Lucknow University and Allahabad University are quite tremendous in their league. Taking into consideration the present scenario, it is best to opt for Lucknow University for your LLB degree. According to my friends from Allahabad University, the faculty there is not as good as Lucknow or any other University in the same tier.
Moot Court, which plays a significant role in the development of skills of law students, is yet to be formed. Students are deprived of many such essential facilities at Allahabad University. Due to the lack of decent faculty, good infrastructure, and placement opportunities, it is not a suitable choice for students to opt for. It is better to opt for Lucknow University for LLB under any circumstances.
