NMAMIT Mangalore and Acharya Institute of Technology have a placement rate of 80%-95% and admit students on the basis of merit of COMED-K and KCET scores. At NMAMIT, 592 selections and 52 internships took place by 74 companies in 2019-20. On the other hand, Acharya Institute of Technology Bangalore placed 611 students from the undergraduate programs and 186 students from the postgraduate programs in 2019.

Admission Process:

  • NMAMIT offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, Ph.D. on the basis of marks scored in - JEE/ KCET/ GATE/KPGCET/KMAT.In addition to it, students also need a minimum of 45% marks at 10+2 level examination or 50% and above in graduation for postgraduate courses.
  • Similarly, Acharya Institute of Technology offers BE, M.Tech, MBA programs, accessible after qualification of the general aforementioned criteria.

Infrastructure:

  • NMAMIT has a 110-acre campus with 11 hostels, 2 eateries, a bank, and a post office. It also has 3 auditoriums and 3 seminar halls. The Sadanand Auditorium Hall has a seating capacity of 5000.

  • At NMAMIT, 39% of students got placed in the Engineering sector and 30% of the recruitment is conducted by Akamai technologies.In addition to this, 5-10% of students get to study and work abroad as well.Some of the major recruiters for NMAMIT Mangalore are Al Ghurair and Alstom Group with a recruitment rate of 18% and 9% respectively. The highest CTC offered in 2019, at NMAMIT Mangalore was INR 18.5 LPA.
  • As for AIT Bangalore the main placement of 2019, was done by Amara Raja Batteries Limited and Ancient Group company at a rate of 15%. In the year 2020, the highest domestic CTC offered at Acharya Institute of Technology was INR 21 LPA by MuSigma Business Solutions Limited.
