Does IET Lucknow take admission through the JEE Mains?
Posted On - Aug 10, 2021Yes, IET Lucknow takes admission through JEE Main. From 2021 the institute started accepting JEE Main scores. Earlier IET Lucknow admission was done based on USEE scores.
The required cutoff varies depending on branch, category, preference of college, availability of seats, etc. Popular branches such as CSE usually have a higher cutoff requirement.
For admission in the engineering (B.Tech) program, the following are the eligibility criteria.
- The candidate should have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the subjects.
- Candidates will be shortlisted or selected based on the cut-offs of UPSEE, followed by admission based on counseling.
As discussed above, the college does not consider JEE Main cut-offs for admission. It only accepts the UPSEE scores. It is the most preferred college by candidates in UPSEE counselling.
