I have scored above 90 in class 10th but I got 79.5 % in class 12th. My college record is decent. Do I stand a good chance at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore or IIM Calcutta?

IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore assign good weight to past academic records for the interview shortlist. You need to have a consistently good record throughout your 10th, 12th, and graduation to get a call from IIMA and B. Having relevant work experience of a minimum of 2 years is also important if you are targeting IIMB.
IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore are allegedly very specific about their academic profile and they particularly take into consideration your graduation percentage.
- If your percentage falls down 70%, then it might go against your admission process.
- Alongside that, it is also slightly difficult for students to secure their admission at IIM Bangalore if they do not have a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
