XLRI Jamshedpur Hosts Start Up Conclave 'Ingenium 3.0'; Read Details Here

New Delhi: Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur has organised its start-up conclave called "Ingenium 3.0" on January 29, 2023. The event was organised by the XLRI’s Innov8 E-Cell Committee.

As per XLRI Jamshedpur, the start-up conclave's key highlights were the thought-breaking keynote speaker sessions, panel discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions among other events. The event was held in offline mode on the campus ground. 

The conclave was hosted and co-hosted by students and faculty members of the institute, including Saurabh Kothari, Aparajita Chaudhuri, and Akash Raj Shukla as Moderators for the session. Students Dilpreet Kaur, Shivank Chaudhary, Surabhi Sinha and Urvashi Kaul.

XLRI Jamshedpur Ingenium 3.0 was inaugurated by Fr. S George S.J., Director, XLRI Jamshedpur and Fr. Donald D’Silva, Dean of Administration & Finance, XLRI Jamshedpur and addressed by the keynote speaker Rajeev Warrier, EVP Wadhwani Entrepreneur, Wadhwani Foundation. 

The topic for this year's start up conclave at XLRI was the Business School role in Start-up Ecosystem. The topic was discussed by the experts and keynote speakers who spoke about decisions which need to be taken at the right time in order to make entrepreneurship work. 

Keynote Speaker Saurabh Garg, Co-Founder, NoBroker.com shared his ideas with the audience on the topic "To Start Up or Not to Start Up". He said, “Not launching a start-up in 2023 is a bigger risk than the risk of failure of a start-up".

After this, Panel Discussion was held for all speakers and participants, in which Founders spoke on Topic “Indian Start-up- RoadMap to become Global Leaders”. The session was attended by Pratyush Nalla, Founding Member, OfBusiness and Varun Gupta, Founder of Boult Audio.

In addition to this, Avelo Roy, MD, Kolkata Ventures, Former Start-up Advisor to the Prime Minister of Nepal, and Vishal Chaudhary, Co-Founder, ZETWERK were also present. On the other hand, the next session discussed the topic "Entrepreneurship and Social Impact”. 

Co-Founder, CoffeeMug & Ex Co-Founder, Jeevansathi.com; Yeshasvini Ramaswamy, Serial Entrepreneur & CEO, Great Place to Work® Institute (India); Basudha Shrivastav, Founder & Managing Director, Empfly Services Pvt. Ltd. & ExpressEarth Digital Services Pvt. Ltd among others joined the session. 

The last panel discussion was held on the topic, “League of Future Unicorns” in which keynote speakers Gaurav Kachru- Managing Partner, Superfuel Ventures, CEO & Co-Founder, Celeste By Talking Threads and Mr Arijit Bhattacharyya- Founder, Virtualinfo.com shared their ideas.

The speakers shared, "Nothing is theoretical, but negotiations happen at the table. There is a vast difference between running a company and making an investment-ready company. Once you understand the model of fitting the company with the investors, you are the winner".

"India is a vibrant country, and a lot of money is on the table; whosoever comes with the disruptive idea will grab the cash", the panel session further added.
