New Delhi: World University of Design (WUD) in Sonepat, Haryana, has launched a six-month certificate programme in film acting. 

This short duration certificate program by World University of Design is scheduled to begin in the month of March 2022. The programme aims to provide training in acting for a career in the Indian film industry. The programme will be headed by acting trainer Farrukh Naqi Azmi.

According to the WUD statement, the certificate programme in Film Acting will intake a total of 25 students in its first batch. Candidates will be selected for the certificate programme based on their application and performance in the personal interview.

World University of Design Certificate in Film Acting: Highlights 

The WUD statement revealed that the film acting programme will rigorously prepare the participants for a career in Hindi Bollywood film industry. 

World University of Design course in Film Acting will comprise three months of intensive training and three months of making a feature film to launch the participant as an actor. 

The three months of intensive training will ensure that participants work effortlessly in front of the camera, have a good command over spoken language with a flawless dialogue delivery and master facial expressions. 

Further, the intensive training will groom the participants to develop a good body language & flexibility; to develop essential skills of observation, imagination, sense, and emotion memories; and the ability to improvise. 

With the help of the intensive training, the participants will be able to master movement with special focus on dancing abilities to improvise; and the fundamentals of action choreography. 

WUD Certificate Program in Film Acting: Eligibility Criteria 

In order to apply for WUD's certificate program in Film Acting, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria, 

• Candidates must be above the age of 18 and they must have a good command over Hindi language. 

• Candidates must possess dancing skills along with some experience in acting is preferable but not essential.
