Interested students should take note of the below mentioned eligibility criteria before applying to the institute:

• Aspiring candidates must have passed class 12 exam from any recognized board.
• Candidates interested in the B.Tech courses are required to have a valid score in JEE Main or Uttaranchal University Entrance Exam (UUEE) 
• Candidates interested in Engineering Diploma Courses, are required to clear the Joint Engineering Examination for Polytechnic (JEEP) exam, conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education (UBTER)
• MBA aspiring students are needed to clear CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT exam before applying to the institute
• Students who are interested in M.Tech exam, are required to clear GATE exam before applying

Uttaranchal University Admission 2022: Selection Process

Aspiring candidates will be selected on the basis of following steps:

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the qualifying entrance exam such as UUEE or JEEP
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the Group Discussion Personal Interview rounds
• Admission to M.Tech programmes will be done on the basis of GATE score
• Admission to BA.LLB. programme will be based on either CLAT or ULET (Uttaranchal University Law Entrance Test)
• Admission to other courses will be based on the past academic performance
