New Delhi: The Directorate General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has notified about the NEET admission procedure to all the round 1 Candidates. In addition, the round 1 merit list was also released.
The admission procedure will adhere to COVID protocols, as stated in the notice. Candidates can find all the information related to NEET UG on the official DGME website @http://dgme.up.gov.in/. The candidates are urged to review the information.
For candidates who have been given government quota seats, the admissions process will be conducted at government institutions, self-financing institutions, and universities.
The nodal centre will handle the admissions process for private colleges. The web page provides information about the nodal centre. The name of the college and nodal centre will appear on the candidates' allotment orders.
Candidates should be aware that the NEET UG admit card will be used to determine admission if the photo is absent or differs from what is on the allotment letter. Candidates who have been given seats in a private college must pay the tuition using bank DD payable at Lucknow and sent to the Director General of Medical Education & Training, UP. They must place the DD in a deposit box at the nodal center.
Candidates who fall under the OBC and EWS categories should note that their credentials must have been issued on or after April 1, 2022, in order to be accepted. The medical board established by the medical college/nodal centre is where all candidates are further requested to undergo their medical examinations.
Following the conclusion of round 2, the applicants who joined from round 1 and those who desire to switch colleges for round 2 must deposit the security deposit, hostel fee, and other fees at the time of admission at the new institution. Meanwhile, the admission process for round 1 will be completed by November 13th, 2022.
