New Delhi: NEET MDS 2022, qualifying cut-off percentile has been dropped by 25.714 % for each category, including General, SC, ST, OBC, and UR-PWD, according to the official announcement from the Union Health Ministry.
The Union Health Ministry has instructed the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to release the updated NEET MDS 2022 exam results. The updated qualifying percentile for applicants in the General category is now 24.286; for candidates in the SC, ST, and OBC categories, it is 14.286; and for applicants in the UR-PWD category, it is 19.286.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test in Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2022 test has been modified, and the Ministry has requested NBE to issue the updated results.
According to the letter from the Union Health Ministry, "Ministry has decided to reduce the qualifying cut-off percentile for NEET-MDS, 2022 by 25.714 percentile for each category in pursuance of DCI's MDS, Regulations, 2017 and 2nd proviso in clause 7(1) of DCI's Master of Dental Surgery Course (1st Amendment) Regulations, 2018.”
Registrations for NEET MDS 2022 round 1 counselling were accepted through September 23 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The round 1 seat allocation results were announced on September 30, 2022.
Registrations for the second round of NEET MDS counselling are now open until October 14. On October 17 and 18, the NEET MDS round 2 allocation results will be made public, and on October 29, the preliminary counselling outcomes will be made public.
