New Delhi: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has postponed the TS EAMCET 2022 exam due to severe rainfall in the state. Candidates can check more details regarding it through the official portal, eamcet.tsche.ac.in. 

According to the timetable, the TS EAMCET 2022 for Agriculture and Medical streams was supposed to begin tomorrow, July 14 to 15, 2022.

As per the officials, it has been stated on the official website that, "TS EAMCET-2022 (Agriculture & Medical (AM) Stream) scheduled to be held on 14th and 15th of July 2022 is postponed. Rescheduled dates will be intimated later." 

Only the Agriculture and Medical exam dates have been postponed till now, not the Engineering stream. Since there have been no changes on the latter, the Engineering EAMCET test is likely to be held on schedule, from July 18 to 20, 2022.

According to local media sources, around 171,945 students have enrolled for engineering, 94,150 for agricultural and medical, and 350 for both, with a total of 2,66,445 TS EAMCET applications received this year. According to officials, 14,722 more applications were submitted this year than in previous.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad conducts the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical (Pharmacy, Veterinary) Common Entrance Test-2022 (TS EAMCET-2022) on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This examination is held for admission to different professional programmes provided in Telangana universities and private colleges for the academic year 2022-2023.

This is not the first time that Telangana's TS EAMCET 2022 has been postponed owing to severe rain. Previously, TS ECET 2022 was postponed because of severe rain and subsequent adverse weather. Furthermore, Osmania University and JNTU Hyderabad postponed some of their examinations.
