TISS Mumbai has deferred the OPI (Online Personal Interview) Round for TISSNET 2021 and TISS Mumbai Management Aptitude Test (TISSMAT) until further notice.
TISSNET is organised by the university every year for admission to Masters Courses. Whereas TISSMAT is the entrance exam for MBA Course in TISS Mumbai. On April 15, 2021, TISS Mumbai had issued an official notice stating the surge in Covid cases in the state as the cause of deferment of the entrance exams.
TISSNET 2021 was held in online mode on February 20, 2021, and the result was declared on March 25, 2021. The OPI Round for TISSNET 2021 was scheduled to be held from April 27- May 7, 2021.
TISSMAT was scheduled to be conducted on May 8, 2021. All the processes for the entrance tests have been paused till the university authority decides it safe to resume the admission processes.
“As far as the Programme Aptitude Test (PAT) and Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for Masters Admissions and Research Aptitude Test for Doctoral Admissions scheduled for 8 May 2021 are concerned, any change in the date will be announced soon upon assessment of the situation and relevant government guidelines on the matter.” TISS Mumbai stated in the official notice.
