New Delhi: Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), Mumbai has begun the application process for M.Sc Nursing Program for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit their online applications at tmc.gov.in by May 20, 2022.

TMC Mumbai offers a 2-year M.Sc program in Nursing, for which the admissions will be done based on the scores of the common entrance test, CET. Interested candidates can submit their applications till May 20, 2022.

TMC Mumbai M.Sc Nursing Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into M.Sc Nursing are required to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are as follows:

• Indian Citizens can apply.
• Candidates must hold a B. Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing Honours / any degree from a Recognized University with at least 55% aggregate marks and registered with the State Nursing Council.
• Candidates must have a minimum 1 year of work experience after state Nursing Council registration Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
• Or, candidates must have at least 1 year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.

TMC Mumbai M.Sc Nursing Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test. 
• Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the Group Discussion/ Viva rounds.
• Final selection is based on the overall performance in CET, GD, and Viva. 
• In case of equal cut-off marks in the CET, (MCQ & GD) all the candidates with the same marks shall be shortlisted for the Viva.

• Visit the official application portal of TMC Mumbai, tmc.gov.in. 
• Register with required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
• Login again with registration credentials and fill all details in the application form.
• Pay the application fee and submit the application form. 
• Take a print out of the form for future purposes.

TMC Mumbai M.Sc Nursing Admission 2022: Exam Pattern

Candidates applying for the MSc Nursing will have to sit for a common entrance test (CET) conducted by the institute. The CET exam pattern is mentioned below. 

• Question paper includes MCQ (100 marks) to be completed in 100 minutes, GD (30 marks) to be completed in 30 minutes and Viva of 20 marks. 
• Candidates who stand among the top three times the number of seats available (at least 50% marks) in both MCQ & Group discussion will be called for Viva.
• Final merit list will be prepared based on total scores secured out of the total 150 marks which will be derived by adding 130 marks (MCQ & Group discussion) and 20 marks (Viva) Topics wise marks
• Oncology Nursing – 30 marks, General Nursing- 20 marks, General English -15 marks, Maths – 15 marks and General knowledge – 20 marks
• There will be a minimum of Five examiners out of which one will be an external examiner.
