New Delhi: TA Pai Institute of Management (TAPMI) has successfully concluded its PGDM placements for the 2020-21 batch with the highest salary being offered at INR 25.6 lakh per annum. 

This year, TAPMI witnessed an exemplary success rate for placing all the PGDM students of the batch 2020-21. The institute recorded the average salary being offered at INR 12.5 LPA.

Out of the total 392 PGDM students, 4 opted for their own endeavor and the remaining 388 students participated in the TAPMI placements, who were placed across 101 companies. 

According to the official TAPMI statement, the institute has achieved an almost 3.36 times increase in the post-programme salary than the pre-programme salary. 

About 69 students received pre-placement offers through summer internships with an average package of INR 13 lakh per annum with the highest pre-placement package being offered at INR 25 LPA.

The institute has also successfully placed 100% of students in its specialist PGDM Banking and Financial Services (PGDM-BKFS) with the highest salary of Rs 32.2 lakhs per annum. 

The institute witnessed the PGDM Marketing students receiving the highest salary of INR 18 lakhs per annum. Whereas the students of PGDM Human Resource Management (HRM) got placed in prominent companies with the highest package being offered at INR 23.6 lakhs per annum.

TAPMI PGDM Placements 2020-21 Details 

During the TAPMI placements 2020-21, the average salary of the PGDM BKFS was recorded at INR 12.6 lakhs per annum while that of the PGDM Marketing course stood at INR 11.6 lakhs per annum. The average salary of PGDM HRM program was INR 12.1 lakh per annum.

This year, most of the TAPMI students were hired by the IT and analytics sector contributing to 36%, followed by the consulting sector which stood at 34% and 23% for the BFSI sector.

Some of the preeminent recruiters who participated in the TAPMI PGDM placements 2020-21 were Accenture, Airtel, Berger, Brillio, Capgemini, Crisil, Citigroup, Cognizant, Deloitte, EY India, Gartner, GoDigit, Goldman Sachs, HCL, KPMG, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, HP, ICICI Bank., Infosys, ITC, JP Morgan Chase, Lowe's India, PWC, PayTM, Nestle, Titan, TVS, Virtusa, TATA Capital, Wells Fargo, etc.

Speaking about the impressive placement records of the Institute, Professor Madhu Veeraraghavan, Director, TAPMI said that the institute's strong placement is an outcome of their industry-relevant curriculum that primarily focuses on imparting skills and competencies to contend with challenges and opportunities in today’s complex environment. 

He concluded by saying that the TAPMI officials are extremely proud of the TAPMI placements 2020-21 and the internship season. 

Currently, the institute is conducting the admission process for its PG programs for the academic year 2022-23.
