New Delhi: SRM University, Andhra Pradesh has launched the Paari School of Business at an illustrious event held on February 17, 2023. The event was inaugurated by Maheshwer Peri, Chairman and Founder of careers360 who joined as a chief guest.
As per SRM University, the new-age B-School dwells with the motto, 'Excellence through Learning'. The guests of honor were Barclays, India, Audit, head, Bala Iyer; SRM University AP, pro-chancellor, P Sathyanarayanan and vice-chancellor, Manoj K Arora.
The members of the governing body, Dr Nicholas Dirks, Emeritus Chancellor, the University of California, Berkeley, US; and Dr Prasant Mohapatra, Vice-Chancellor for Research, University of California, Davis, US, graced the occasion with their distinguished presence.
One of the members of the governing body, Nichloas Dirks launched the Directorate of Executive position and Professional Studies (DEEPS). This is an initiative that aims to conduct management and executive programs for working professionals in the industry.
Prashant Mohapatra has launched the center of consumer research. The main objective of the centre is to facilitate India-centric consumer research to disseminate the knowledge of consumers in India.
The centre will also be providing short-term programs related to consumer behavior in India for interested participants along with consulting projects on consumer behavior for companies and policy initiatives for concerned stakeholders.
Another initiative launched at the event was the centre for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). This centre mainly aims to promote the SDGs and distribute knowledge and awareness on the topic.
