Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @ist.srmtrichy.edu.in. 

SRMIST Trichy offers B.Tech in various specialisations that include computer science and engineering, electronics and communication, etc. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till June 20, 2022. 

Candidates seeking admissions to the B.Tech course will have to appear for the SRMJEE entrance exam conducted by the institute for admissions to its UG courses.

SRMIST Trichy B.Tech Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions into the B.Tech at SRMIST Trichy will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are mentioned below. 

• Candidates must have passed 50% minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM).
• Candidates qualified in IIT JEE Main/ SAT will be admitted directly even if they have not taken the SRMJEEE test, that is the candidates who have qualified in JEE Main/SAT are exempted from SRMJEEE test. 

SRMIST Trichy Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Admission is done through Entrance examination, subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as well.
• Admission to the B.Tech program is based on class 12th score followed by TNEA Counselling.
• Candidates need to opt for SRM TRP Engineering College Tiruchirappalli during the counselling process.
• In rare circumstances, if seats remain vacant after the counselling process, the institute may offer direct admission in certain programs.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of SRM Trichy @ist.srmtrichy.edu.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1200 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
