Through practical learning, simulations, and internships, which prepare students for problems they will face in the real world, the institute places a strong focus on learning by doing, whereas the employers place great importance on this practical experience since it gives students the abilities to excel right away in their corporate projects, Raman said.
Almost a total of 100 companies participated in the final placements at SIBM Pune, where a number of new recruiters in addition to its legacy recruiters were welcomed, who continued to put their faith in the talent pool made available by the institute.
The students are given the commercial acumen that continues to draw recruiters due to the institute's rigorous academic standards, distinctive student-driven culture, and corporate interactions through leadership presentations.
Students can succeed and earn professional certifications like the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Management (FRM), and KPMG Lean Six Sigma with the use of an experiential and case-study-based methodology. An extraordinary track record in national-level business cases and an increase in the number of research papers by students in a variety of subjects, such as analytics, logistics, and blockchain and an exceptional track record in national-level corporate case competitions have helped to enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills to suit industry requirements.
Commenting on how the institute's commitment to holistic learning translated into yet another amazing placement season, Ashwani Bansal, Student President of SIBM Pune, said that the successful completion of the final placements was achieved due to the hard work put in by the students through their commitment to academics, interest in extracurricular courses and certifications, as well as participation in various case competitions.
The Placement Advisory Team is dedicated to upholding the tradition of SIBM Pune, and strives to establish new benchmarks each year. Despite the fact that companies are laying off as a result of several macroeconomic causes, SIBM Pune is still a key source of talent for employers, Bansal said.
Further, Bansal concluded saying that the SIBM Pune B-school graduates are highly sought after in the job market due to their specialised education, alumni network, practical learning opportunities, and the rising need for specialised skills. Premier B-schools like SIBM Pune have thus turned into a sanctuary for students looking for employment during these challenging times.
