New Delhi: Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning (SCDL) has teamed up with One of the largest asset financing companies in India, Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd, for the Corporate Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed by Symbiosis Open Education Society's (SOES) Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) and Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited (STFC), in this regard.
This agreement aims to develop the next generation of employee talent. The MOU will support the Shriram employees' upskilling through open and distance learning. The Employees will also be able to access this self-paced training session via the cloud at any time, from any location, using any device.
Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) will offer an AICTE-approved Corporate Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (C-PGDBA) programme to the STFC employees.
The program will extend over a 2 years duration, constituting 4 semesters and with specialisation in Financial Management and Marketing Management. SCDL will conduct the PGDBA programme and provide the necessary training to eligible employees of STFC.
According to Dr. Swati Mujumdar, Principal Director SOES, who was speaking about the MOU, Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) has been a pioneer in corporate executive education and a preferred education partner to corporations in India and worldwide.
With this partnership with STFC, the SCDL is dedicated to enhancing the talent development of the Shriram family with managerial tools. This collaboration will present both businesses with numerous opportunities, Mujumdar said.
In order to give the internal Management Education Scheme programme a respectable institute recognition, SCDL and STFC have agreed to jointly certify only the NBFC domain courses relevant to processes and products.
The curriculum has been developed to enable staff to assume managerial roles. Through exposure to the whole spectrum of management topics, it will quickly improve managerial skills.
The curriculum has been specifically created for Shriram employees to help them advance in their existing field of expertise and gain a thorough understanding of other managerial roles.
The program's materials will assist the participants in developing a solid understanding of management concepts for use in real-world situations.
