The Supreme Court has denied entertaining any more petitions demanding NEET 2020 postponement. Supreme Court was supposed to hear a fresh plea seeking postponement of NEET 2020 or more number of exam centers and staggered entry over five-six days.

A three-judge bench of Justices Ashok Bhushan, R Subhash Reddy, and MR Shah said, “Now everything is over,”. They added, “Even review petitions have been dismissed. Authorities will take steps. Some petitions had cities Bihar floods for deferment, some others weekend lockdowns, etc.”

Yesterday Adv. Alakh Alok Srivastava on his twitter handle said, “#NEET friends, Today evening I had a detailed discussion with Respected Senior Advocate, who will appear for us in our NEET Case tomorrow. We are seeking postponement, more centers, NEET in 5-6 Days etc. Both of us are working pro bono. We will try our Best. U keep studying."

Following the successful conclusion of JEE Main 2020 from September 1 to 6, students have been demanding conducting NEET 2020 in a similar manner over 5-6 days.

With over 15 lakh students appearing for the exam on the same day, there would be a lot of strain on logistics and exam organizers to ensure that all safety measures and social distancing are followed.
