SAT, TS Inter Exam 2022 Dates Clash on May 07, 2022: Read Full Report Here

As per the schedule released for TS Inter Exams 2022, the second language exam for the Sanskrit subject will be held on May 07, 2022. While on the other hand, TS Inter students who have also registered for SAT are preparing to appear for the test on the same day.

Due to this conflict, more than 800 students who have registered for SAT 2022 and their concerned parents have requested the official authorities and government to postpone the second language exam of the second Intermediate course.

Sunita, an Inter second-year student, said "We cannot miss the second language paper, as it is important. If students are to qualify for the SAT entrance exam and for getting admission, they will need an Inter pass certificate”.

She further requested the State Government to hear the plea of students and postpone the second language paper or reschedule it for a later date. Students can not afford to miss their SAT entrance examination as they’ve been preparing for it for so long, she added.

Talking about the situation, parents urged the government to schedule the second-year intermediate exam on May 08, 2022 (Sunday) instead of May 07. With this, students won't have to worry about appearing for another exam immediately, as the next exam is on May 10, 2022.

Asif Hussain, president of Telangana Parents' Association for Child Rights and Safety, said, “This year students will be missing the SAT exams as the next one is in August. By then admissions for this year would be over”

“As the SAT exam date was announced in the last week of April, we have submitted a representation to the Education Department to postpone the Inter second paper for a day or else at least consider rescheduling the exam to the afternoon on the same day” he added.

Adding to the statement, another parent said, "TS Inter Exam 2022 officials should explore another option to help over 800 students taking the SAT exam this year". Decisions should be made in the best interest of students so that they can save one year, they further added.

Reviewing the requests made by students and parents, Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy has agreed to find an alternate date for intermediate exams. This step has been taken to offer relief to students who have applied for both SAT and Telangana State Inter Exam 2022.

Following the SAT 2022 Schedule, the examination will commence on May 07, 2022, for all registered candidates. The exam score will be considered for admission to various undergraduate courses at universities abroad as well as in the premier institutes in the country.

As of now, no official news regarding the postponement of TS Inter Exam 2022 has been released by the authorities. Students are advised to keep a tab on the official Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education website for the latest exam updates.
