Panjab University (PU) Chandigarh has released the PU CET PG 2026 result. PU CET PG stands for Panjab University Combined Entrance Test Postgraduate. Candidates can check the scorecard at cetpg.puchd.ac.in.

The scorecard shows total marks overall rank category rank and qualifying status. The result decides centralised admission to PG programmes at Panjab University. Affiliated colleges also use this scorecard for their PG admissions.

Qualified candidates must now register for admission at onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in. The last date to complete the online admission form is July 21 2026. The portal is open for all postgraduate diploma and advanced diploma courses.

The PU CET PG 2026 entrance test was held on June 19 20 and 21 2026. Test centres were set up in Chandigarh Ludhiana Hoshiarpur and Muktsar. The provisional answer key was released on June 23 for candidate objections.

How to Apply for PU PG Admission 2026?

Qualified candidates must apply separately on the online admissions portal. Clearing the entrance test alone does not confirm a seat. A fresh account on the admission portal is compulsory.

1. Visit onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in and register with a valid email ID.
2. Log in to the portal and click on Add Application Form.
3. Fill in the personal academic and category details carefully.
4. Select the desired courses and upload the required documents.
5. Pay the application fee online through net banking debit card credit card or UPI.
6. Confirm and submit the form well before the July 21 deadline.

Once confirmed the form cannot be edited or changed. Applicants should double check every entry before final submission. Payments are accepted only through the online modes listed on the portal.

PU PG Admission 2026 Application Fee

The application fee depends on the number of courses a candidate chooses. All fees are non refundable.

SC ST and PwD candidates receive a 50 percent concession on this fee. Sports category applicants must also submit hard copies to the Campus Sports office. The university has advised candidates not to wait until the last day.

What Happens After Registration?

Panjab University will release a provisional merit list after July 21. Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling and document verification. Seats are allotted on the basis of rank and course preference. Candidates should keep original certificates and mark sheets ready for verification.
