Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University along with other state universities has canceled all the exams for first and second-year students in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The further guidelines regarding the exams will not be issued by the universities such as PRSU but will instead be announced by the government.
The administration of the university made the decision in an Executive Council has submitted that the government would be making the final call regarding the conduction of the exam.

Some university sources also suggest that conducting examinations for about 1.5 lakh students is not an easy feat. The efforts required to carry out the entire process will multiply tenfold.
Several programs such as Pharmacy, LLB and B.Ed cannot be cleared without approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India and the National Council for Teacher Education, which are responsible for these examinations and are the highest authority for the same.

In other news, UGC has recently issued new guidelines asking all universities to conclude their examinations by the end of September.
