Pearson and UCAS International have collaborated to combine their services in Pearson Test of English (PTE) into ‘Myriad English’ by UCAS, available on the UCAS Myriad app. With this collaboration, Post- graduate applicants researching for study options in the UK will find it easier to get information about courses and also take an English language test.
This partnership merges Pearson PTE & Myriad by UCAS which will allow non-native English-speaking students to research, schedule their learning, prepare, and take the PTE Academic test to meet the English language requirements for their chosen university or college’s.

Shileen Costain, Global Business Development Director for PTE, Pearson, said, “Over 200,000 PG students started their studies in the UK in the year 2021. As many of these come from non-native English-speaking countries, we are proud to partner up with UCAS International to offer PTE as an English language test for all these students who are required to prove their proficiency levels.”
“Adding PTE to the Myriad app makes it simple & seamless for students to access an English test as they can do it in the same place & at the same time as they are researching courses, funding, and where to live,” the development director added.
The PTE Academic test can be taken at test centres in around 115 countries, or also online at home. The English language test was recently shortened from 3 hours to 2 hours, to lessen stress in test-takers.
