PDPU Convocation: Huge Opportunity Available For Entrepreneurship And Employment Amid COVID 19, Says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that major changes are happening around the world and huge opportunities are available for the growth of entrepreneurship and employment. Modi's statement at the PDPU convocation ceremony kept the spirit of optimism high amid the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic situation.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) virtually conducted the convocation ceremony and PM Modi was the Chief Guest of the event.

While addressing the event, PM Modi stated that the students were entering the industry while major changes were taking place around the world due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

Modi congratulated the students of PDPU stating that they would emerge from the current situation and infuse power into the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission with their skills, talents, and professionalism.

PM Modi mentioned about the carbon emission issue and stated, "Today, we are moving forward with the goal of reducing the country's carbon footprint by 30 - 35 percent."

Modi also stated that they are making efforts to increase the use of natural gas for energy by four times in the current decade.

In an encouraging way, Modi stated that to graduate in these times when the world is going through a global pandemic is not easy but the abilities of students are much bigger than this challenge.

PM Modi also stated, "It is not that successful people do not face problems, but he who accepts challenges, confronts them, defeats them, solves problems, eventually succeeds."

At the convocation ceremony of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, the Foundation stones of a 45-MW production plant of the monocrystalline solar photovoltaic panel were also laid by PM Modi.
